The tuffest burnout comp in the north is on again!

$10,000 prize pool!

The NQ PRO BURNOUTS is the tyre smashing event of the north with $10,000 cash up for grabs over the top three places. With this sort of prize pool there will be big cubes, blowers and plenty of methanol!

A first for the event is the Meguiar’s Show & Shine! There will be Top Ford, Holden, Chrysler, American and Top ‘Stand Out’ awarded to the one Show & Shine entrant that wows the judges on the pad also. Prize packs and trophies up for grabs and entry is free to the Show & Shine. Space is limited so first in best dressed.

GATES OPEN 11AM to 10PM

Gates will swing open at 11am with practice for the 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl and ladies class until 2PM. We will then commence heats and finals will follow. Wildcard spots will be available for competitors that have what it takes to step up to the PRO competition from 7PM.

Qualify from 11AM-2PM     Heats/Finals 2PM-6PM

NQ PRO Burnouts from 7PM. No qualifying.

PRO ENTRANT DETAILS!

The NQ PRO Burnouts is based on one skid per PRO entrant judged for 90 seconds. There is no qualification or heats. Entrants may do as many skids before the kick-off at 7PM but they will be considered practice burnouts and not judged.

ENTRANT EVENT INFOMATION
Gate entry is $15 plus a nomination fee which remains at just $25. This year there is a $10,000 cash prize pool available. This is paid $7,000 for first place, 2^nd place pockets $2,000 with 3^rd place banking $1,000. In addition to this there is the “Top 10” number plates, the ‘Best Presented’ trophy and the trophy no one wants, the ‘Carnage Trophy’. After the event there is an entrants and volunteers only after-party. If you have mates that you wish to tag along this is fine, but it is not open to the public. Please contact the organisers to discuss additional arm bands.

VEHICLE RULES
All cars MUST be presentable to enter the PRO class. This does not mean vehicles need to be show cars, but must have colour matching panels and look reasonable. Ie; red doors on a white car with a blue bonnet is not acceptable.

TIME RULES
All PRO entrants are judged on the first 90 seconds of their burnout. Entrants may go as long as they wish without penalty.

TYRE RULES
We encourage entrants to use new or near new tyres for their judged burnout. Entrants that drive on the pad with heavily worn tyres will be frowned upon. Busting tyres prior to your 90 seconds judged time is not frowned upon.

BURNOUT JUDGING
Burnouts are judged on four criteria with a total of 50 points.

• Instant Smoke – 10 points
• Constant Smoke – 10 point
• Driver Control – 20 point
• Vehicle Performance – 10 points

Instant Smoke is judged from the moment you start your burnout. Instant thick smoke is the key to getting points here!

Constant Smoke is judged from the moment your burnout starts until you finish your skid. The thicker the smoke the better!

Driver Control will be judged on how well you can wheel your car! Keep your vehicle inside the designated area. Static burnouts require no skill and will not attract points for driver control.

Vehicle Performance is judged on how well your vehicle overall performs. For example, if your engine is missing, labouring or not revving cleanly, you will lose points in this area.
