Unfortunately we’ve had to postpone this Scotty Joseph burnout memorial to a date yet to be confirmed. This is due to the grounds being too wet and forecast not promising. As soon as a new date is set it’ll be posted here. Stay posted for updates.
UPDATE: Confirmation has come back that May 4th is good for the re-scheduled Scotty Joseph Memorial! Shame about the weather, but can’t control it. The meet will be run as per usual with the gates opening from 2PM!…
So the dates are in for the year! April 13th kicks off the season with the Scotty Joseph Memorial. Regular events follow on June 15th, October 12th and December 14th. The biggest event of the year, the NQ PRO Burnouts #5, is back on again on August 3rd!
Hope to see you all there throughout the year smashing tyres or in the crowd enjoying the tyre frying show the entrants put on.

The years end is closing in, but there is still one more competition to go! The final comp is always a cracker with the next event five months away in April 2013.
As always there will be 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl, ladies and open class with prize money and trophies for all classes.
Gates open at 2PM. Practice until 6PM.
Heats & finals kick off at 6PM.

The NQ PRO BURNOUTS is the tyre smashing event of the north with a massive cash prize pool up for grabs over the top three places. This year there will be $13,000 up for grabs for the PRO class;

As this years event is a qualifying event for the Liqui-Moly Summernats #26 Burnout Masters, the winner will also collect a golden ticket into the 2013 Burnout Masters.…
UPDATE!!! A new date for the rained out meet on June 2nd has been scheduled for June 16th. This will be a regular competition – gates open 2PM, usual classes, etc. Same story as always.
As there isn’t a whole lot of time the promote the event I’d ask that people assist with this to make it the best it can be.

The first burnout comp of the year, the Scotty Joseph Memorial, is always a top event but this year was one to remember! A massive crowd came to watch the big field of cars send smoke to the heavens. While there was plenty of carnage at this event, the ones that made it through put on a great spectacle.
Just back from Summernats, Laurie Sultana and Benny Circle put on a fierce battle for top spot in the open class and the Scotty trophy (best skid of the night).…
