The Cairns Burnouts is a legal place for people to come and enjoy burnouts in a safe, legal, and controlled environment. From 4 bangers to V8s, mild to wild, everything is welcome.
All events are family friendly with free kids entertainment provided and for those without kids hit the bar! Hot food is available at all events also.

How are the burnouts judged?
Burnouts are judged on four sections with a total of 50 points. Judge Criteria is as listed below…
- Instant Smoke – 10 points
- Constant Smoke – 10 point
- Driver Control – 20 point
- Vehicle Performance – 10 points
- No points for popping tyres.
Instant Smoke is judged from the moment you start your burnout. Instant thick smoke is the key to getting points here!
Constant Smoke is judged from the moment your burnout starts until you either finish or your time runs out. The thicker the smoke the better!
Driver Control will be judged on how well you can wheel your car! Keep your vehicle inside the designated area without hitting barriers. Static burnouts require no skill and will not attract points for driver control.
Vehicle Performance is judged on how well your vehicle overall performs. For example, if your engine is missing, labouring or not reving cleanly, you will lose points in this area.
