Tropical Meltdown 2019

This year sees Tropical Meltdown, a qualifying event for the Summernats Burnout Masters, held at Springmount Raceway for the first time on July 26 – 27!  With a massive three (3) golden tickets on offer, plus over $15,000 in prize money, this event is sure to attract the best of the best from all over the country to hit it out on the big Springmount burnout pad!

To add to the fun and excitement of the burnout competition, the new venue means an expanded format for the event, with cruising (including opportunities for more burnouts!) and a show and shine now part of the action!

Please note the following event details:

Schedule

Friday:
Gates open 12pm
Scrutineering from 1pm – 5pm
Cruising from 2pm – 5:30pm
Burnouts Heat 1 at 6pm

Saturday:
Gates open 7am
Scruitineering from 8am – 10am
Cruising from 8am (runs all day in between burnout heats)
Burnouts Heat 2 at 11am and Finals at 6pm
Show and Shine all day

Prices

Competitor:
Burnout Entry – $150* (includes Burnout entry and access to Cruise Route and Show and Shine)
Basic Entry – $90* (includes access to the Cruise Route and Show and Shine only)
*Note – a late fee of $50 applies to entries after midnight on Sunday 14 July.
Camping – $30 (flat fee for one or both nights)
Passenger – $10
Spectator:
Friday – Adult = $30, Child 5-15yrs = $15, Child under 5yrs = free, Family (2A + 2C) = $75
Saturday – Adult = $40, Child 5-15yrs = $20, Child under 5yrs = free, Family (2A + 2C) = $100
Friday & Saturday – Adult = $60, Child 5-15yrs = $30, Child under 5yrs = free, Family (2A + 2C) = $150
Camping – Adult = $30, Child = $15 (flat fee for one or both nights)
Note – spectator and camping passes are to be purchased on the gate only.  Members discount of $10 on general admission and $10 on camping applies.
